Kathy "Morning Dove" Hollmann is an 18 year old high school graduate, who has been currently training horses for friends, family and Sponsors. She specializes in problem horses and exercising horses as well as training All Around and Mounted Shooting horses. She competes competitively in Cowboy Mounted Shooting, and is now a Ladies Level 5.
Kathy has enrolled at Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell, and will start college this August of 2011. She wants to earn Degrees and Minors in Business, Welding, Agriculture Business & Economics, Agriculture Education, Animal Science, and Horse & Ranch Management. At ENMU-R, she will get her basics done in Business and Welding, before transferring to New Mexico State University in Las Cruces.
Kathy's agricultural and welding teacher has been her mentor throughout high school. She learned that if you can find a job doing what you love and enjoy, you'll never have to work a day in your life. She has been following his advice and is in the process of combining her three passions of welding, horse training and teaching into an enjoyable career and a lifetime of helping other
