Howdy there, and welcome to my             
site!!  My real name is Kathy.  I'm in the   
12th grade now, but I've been shooting    
 since I was 2 years old and riding            
 horseback since  I was 3.  My family        
 shoots competitively with  the Single     
 Action Shooting Society and the CMSA.
  I started competing in their "Action"      
 matches with real guns and bullets
when I was only 7 years  old.  My alias is
"Morning Dove" and I'll use that here on  
this site most of the time.  I grew up and
live on a small ranch in New Mexico and  
       have been helping friends and
neighbors work their cattle since I was 8
yrs old.  I love doing almost anything on
horseback.  Horses are really great
animals and friends.  I've owned a few
horses and you can see me in the top      
    three pictures on Roy, my quarter        
      horse.  I started doing Cowboy           
   Mounted Shooting with my Dad six
years ago and just started shooting off
of Roy 3 yrs ago.  You can see me in the
bottom picture  on Chief, an appaloosa   
      we had back when we started.            
     Mounted  Shooting is the fastest         
  growing equine sport in the world and   
  Roy loves it almost as much as I do!  
We race around the arena with a pair of  
   single action revolvers, shooting           
 balloons set up in patterns as we go.      
 The fastest time  with the least misses   
  wins.  If you're not careful there are a    
  few penalties you can get if you don't    
    follow the rules.  It sure is fun.  
     I hope you enjoy looking at the
